LCWR Daily Reflection Books

LCWR now publishes a daily reflection book that follows the conference's focus for the year. The reflections in each book are written by LCWR members and are offered as a resource for prayer. The books are available for purchase by the public as well. Although the books are published annually, they are not specific to any certain year and can be used at any time. Copies are still available of the 2005 and 2007 publications. For order information, contact Carol Glidden at cglidden@lcwr.org.

2008
At the Edge of Tomorrow

The 2008 LCWR reflection book, At the Edge of Tomorrow, is an excellent resource for reflection on living courageously into an unknown future.

Using the Hebrew and Christian scriptures, as well as insights from some of the great thinkers of our times, 53 LCWR members offer a reflection for every day from May 31 (Feast of the Visitation) through July 22 (Feast of Mary Magdalen). The writers offer insights and wisdom on moving forward with hope, creativity, energy, and a willingness to live with the unanswered questions of these times.

The 2007 reflection book, "So Much is in Bud ," focuses on living with hope, staying open to new possibilities and dreaming what may not yet be. Using the Hebrew and Christian scriptures, as well as insights from some of thegreat thinkers of our times, 57 LCWR members offer a reflection for every dayfrom May 27 (Pentecost) through July 22 (the Mary Magdalen). The writers offer insights and wisdom on dwelling inthe potential for new life that lies within us all.

Changing the Face of the Mountain

The 2006 reflection book, "Changing the Face of the Mountain,"
focuses on the call to vision with hope for a changed future.
Using the Hebrew and Christian scriptures, as well as insights from some of the
great thinkers of our times, 64 LCWR members offer a reflection for every day
from June 4 (Pentecost) through August 6 (the Feast of the Transfiguration).
The writers offer insights and wisdom on dwelling in hope
as they creatively imagine and dream for the future.

Creating Peace in Violent Times

Tending the Holy

Out of print -- copies no longer available for purchase

In 2004 the LCWR assembly focused on caring for the Earth.
The daily reflection book, entitled Tending the Holy,
contained reflections based on scripture and excerpts from
the Earth Charter.
