The Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) and the Conference of Major Superiors of Men (CMSM) sold the building that the conferences have co-owned at 8808 Cameron Street, Silver Spring, Maryland, for 36 years. The paperwork for the sale was signed on May 1.
As the needs of the two conferences have changed, they accepted an offer from a neighboring business to purchase the property. Both organizations will remain at the site through the summer and then plan to move to different nearby locations. When relocation plans are finalized, the conferences will notify their members.
