The 2023 LCWR reflection book, Embracing a Traveler’s Heart, explores how we can live from a stance of adventure – seeing our journey through this life as continuous opportunities to expand our horizons and our hearts.
The title is taken from the presidential address by Jane Herb, IHM delivered at 2022 LCWR assembly. In her address, Jane spoke of the dispositions needed to make our journeying a time for growth and transformation. In this reflection book more than 40 leaders explore some of the concepts Jane shared with the hope that the book be a source of inspiration to women religious and other readers as we navigate our shifting times and new realities. Their reflections are accompanied by artwork as well as questions for the readers’ reflection and prayer.
The cost of each book is $6.00, plus shipping and handling. Discounted prices are available for orders larger than 10 copies. Revenue from this LCWR project helps defray the costs of the resources and programs the conference provides its members.
