The 2025 LCWR reflection book, Who Then Shall We Be? draws from the 2024 LCWR assembly in which this question was explored in the context of what is happening in the world, the church, in this nation, and in our religious institutes.
In this year’s LCWR reflection book, more than 40 leaders probe further some of the insights shared in the assembly presentations that contain glimmers of ideas about what the world most needs religious life to be for these complex times. Who are women religious being invited to be as the world grapples with the large questions of these days? How might the changing realities of the world be shaping the way we live religious life? Of what might we, women religious, have to let go in order to be for the world in new ways? What new desires are arising for how religious life might be lived in these new times?
The reflections are accompanied by artwork as well as questions for the readers’ reflection and prayer.
The cost of each book is $6.00, plus shipping and handling. Discounted prices are available for orders larger than 10 copies. Revenue from this LCWR project helps defray the costs of the resources and programs the conference provides its members.
Deadline for placing an order is Friday, February 21. The books will be mailed in March.
